Saif’s Workout Routine
The actor’s intensive workout regimen is kickstarted by a light warm-up which is followed by advanced stretching which he says loosens up his muscles. After this Saif does some skipping. The actor also practices kickboxing which helps in toning up of his physique. Ziabuddin Khatib of the Indian Kick Boxing Association is his personal trainer and he has often been quoted as saying that Saif is among the fittest actors in the industry.

Saif’s other workout essentials include working on intense muscle contraction with the help of a punching bag. The actor also does shadow training, which is an important routine for boxers. Besides his usual workout regimen, Saif has also been doing yoga lately under the influence of Kareena, who is a renowned practitioner of the art.

Of late, Saif is training with Satyajit Chaurasia who his helping him to get into the right shape for the upcoming action flick ‘Agent Vinod. “Saif has a good body but it needs to be toned again and so he came to me again. He is a very old client of mine. Every morning, we have a workout session for around two hours, which starts with cardio and later on he also does Yoga which I’m not teaching him because he does yoga with Kareena Kapoor,” says Satya





Diet
Saif thrives on a balanced diet which incorporates all essential nutrients. A non-vegetarian otherwise, he is contemplating giving up meat for some time to clean up his system.  Saif believes that following a diet and eating healthy vegetarian food clears up the system. His trainer Satya monitors his diet meticulously. “Apart from a well-planned workout, he is also following a regular balance diet which is essential to build up weight and muscles,” explains Satya. These days Saif is following a strict diet plan drafted by Kareena’s dietician Rujuta Diwekar. He does not believe in starving and his diet comprises all the regular meals: breakfast, afternoon snack, lunch, evening snack and dinner. His ideal diet is composed of 45% carbohydrates, 30% proteins and 15% fats.
